The vocal magic of Dede Wyland, augmented by her solid guitar playing, has captured audiences nationally and internationally during a touring career that has spanned over two decades. A veteran of countless concert halls, clubs, and festivals, Dede has established herself among the most respected singers in bluegrass music. As a fixture on the national radio scene, Dede has appeared on such shows as “A Prairie home companion and “Mountain Stage.” Her TV appearances, including repeat engagements on the Nashville Network's “Fire On The Mountain,” show, have served to reinforce her reputation as a “singer's singer.” Dede was a founding member and featured vocalist in the renowned band “Tony Trischka and Skyline.” Her recording credits include four albums with Skyline on the Flying Fish label, and two releases on Rounder Records, including her acclaimed solo project, “Look Into Your Heart.” With this, her first recording for Patuxent Records, Dede features five songs which showcase her beautifully expressive voice.
